For children the main thing for me personally is safety, comfort and education. Their identity first and foremost is somali and whatever their dad is (could be anyone). Qabiil isnt important imma be so real with you as long as they know where they come from exactly in somalia its not a problem. I would just tell them they are from xamar

i would tell them their region and city/village not clan. I want my children to interact with other somalis but only the second generation somalis that have children since I know there will he no emphasis on it and their kids will have educated parents.

overall i want them to integrate well into society and lift my family into wealth. Generational wealth>qabiil.

Yes. I heard about blood money being taken from a clan after a murder of a person in Somalia. It seems like an inefficient justice system but it's the only somewhat guaranteed justice system they have. Everything comes down to money and livelihood.

I don't know what's going on in Xamar with the justice system but since they have so many Qabils, they can't be doing the Qabil system there. The population is also higher. I don't see the traditional system working without chaos.
