I'm not going to lie. I have my moments of nationalism and thinking and saying things of that nature.

However, from a true Islamic standpoint what you have just said is right. We can't deny this.

What your saying is true walal. Somali nationalism is not what im promoting but a strong Somali identity that has been shaped and rooted in Islam. You may think that is already the case but that is not quite true unfortunately. The question of what it means to be a Somali remains unanswered. For the Israelites, their identity was shaped by Musa and Dawud pbuh and the Tawrat and the Zabur. For the Arabs, it was the Prophet pbuh and the Qur'an.

The same can applied to us. We need to revise Somali culture around Tawheed and Qur'an and also have a political manifesto that states our independant political institutions and foreign policy. Our leader must be a Muslim of Somali
Lineage. We have to have our own Islamic calendar and our writing script. The Arabs have fallen and its our turn to become a great nation
