Sudan Conflict Updates: Army vs RSF

On balance, of the two sides, whom would you say is on a stronger ground, as it stands at the moment ? And whose hand is further strenghtened the longer the conflict drags on, and vice versa?
It's hard to say, at this point it's basically a game of cat and mouse.

The military is further strengthened by this dragging on, as they have access to the port and airspace for resupply. They even rejected UAE humanitarian aid that landed in Port Sudan international airport to prevent anything reaching the RSF.

Has the conflict spread to other regions, or is it still confined to Khartoum and its surroundings?

Green is military, red RSF. Fighting is in Khartoum, El Obeid, and Darfur.

Seems like rumors of Hemedti being bedridden might be true. His voice sounds off he's not making a public appearance. Last time we got footage of Hemedti was a video taken day 1 of the conflict.

It sounds as if it is an old recording, as he is referring to April 11th as a future date, unless I misheard it, of course.

Oh I see. I must have missed your last note.

Today marks one month since the conflict started. The RSF is freely pillaging and harming civilians, while the SAF only presence remains within social media networks. There doesn't seem to be a end in sight, and things are heading into a more dire situation

^ footage of the RSF forcing a guy to abandon his car at a gunpoint and even shooting live ammo right next to him

I don't think this needs to said, but jeddah agreement have proven to be completely useless and the RSF is still continuing their criminal activities against sudanese civilians

The data and research from the institute is preserved, and the Coca-Cola factory wasn't destroyed either (only the fuel tank was while RSF were refueling).

Why is he driving around a warzone unarmed? You cannot expect the army to be at every corner. Meanwhile a man with a backbone used his pistol to killed 4 RSF soldiers that attacked his wife

The real tragedy here is that the indigenous people of Darfur are being attacked by the RSF in their own lands at this very moment.

It's a real shame that Chad is not at all stable and is obviously not strong enough to protect their own kin in Darfur.

More normal citizens don't have access to guns or any effective weapons. According to FB the guy that killed 4 RSF was a retired officer from the army which explains why he carried a pistol with him. Still it's stupid af to go out with a car at the current times
@Asaana @Jun
Besides the distrust, the peacocking, and the obvious, as reported, what is Hamedti fighting for?
Establish the new dagalo kingdom in sudan and control all its resources

Like all African would-be despots... himself; the man has zero education and somehow feels entitled to ruling that 'Country'. I came across reports that estimate his wealth in the billions.

South Sudan is even worse

The death-deserving morons in Juba stole or squandered around $18 billion dollars during and after the Interim Period -- and that's precisely why South Sudan can't really be considered to be a Nation-State at this point.

In rural areas and towns right outside Khartoum most people have weapons, and since 2019-2021 many urban folks got them. Usually tasers and mace for women and pistols for men.
