Since the coup against Al Bashiir, Sudanese Army has been divided into two factions one is led by Al Burhan the coup leader who is loyal to Egypt and the other is led by his deputy Hamidti who is loyal to the UAE. The latter runs former Al Janjawiid militias who have been integrated into the rapid support forces they seized an airport in the North used by Egypt and attacked Khartoum airport and state media stations
Ethiopia has chance now to back Hamidti

UAE backed Janjawiid militias can't win the battle in Khartoum and the North because they are from the west near the border with Chad. They were used by Khartoum against the black Darfur rebeles. They are seen as barbarians and murderers. Sudan is ruled by three Nothern clans that stretch from khartoum to the border with Egypt and they are Jacaliya Al Bashiir tribe, Al Shaqiye former vice president under Al bashir Ali osman and now Al burhan the ruler of Sudan they both share original routes the other one is Danagla

Janjawiid aka RSF belong to Al raziiqaat them and Masiiriya are armed by Khartoum against the separatist black tribes so they forget that they proxy militias not allowed in Khartoum

It appears to be Merowe airport/airbase, and the captured personnel are Egyptian military advisors and soldiers working for the Sudanese Army Forces. RSF also took over what appears to be Egyptian fighter jets
