SSC sharia law bans music shows which was going to be held in LA

SSC is starting to grow on me. I saw a collage of all of the new business and clinics opened in Las Canod the past several months, absolutely amazing and promising :salute:

People didn't spill their blood only for Las Anod to become another Jilib. This guy and any other mayor on earth who wants their city to be successful shouldn't care what about what happens at private venues.

They just want to get themselves involved so people think they're getting things done instead of doing their actual jobs which is focusing on the security and economy of Las Anod. It's basically a distraction from the real issues the city faces. The youth are the ones who spilled their blood for this city and they should be able to do whatever tf they want if they rent out a private venue, as long as they're not harming other people. It's none of the government's business.

A lot of these keyboard warriors screaming Shariah state never wanted to make "Hijrah" when Al-Shabaab and ISIS were controlling LARGE swathes of territory enforcing "Shari'ah". They want us to become like them, because no doubt a fundamentalist Salafi Shari'ah state will attract all those nutjobs and then destroy our beautiful city. You are free to enforce your version of Shari'ah in your home and in the masjid, but you have no business enforcing your views on other people in the public sphere or on their private property.

comparing khawarij to an actual muslim state implementing the laws Allah has sent down says enough about you honestly.

Somalia is a muslim country, if you want to free mix and dance at music parties we will not allow you to do this in somalia In Shaa Allah!

The concert is being held back on. Jabuutawi is the owner of the hotel and he said it’s still on.

This mayor and his ilk need to be deported to Afghanistan. The Taliban and them will get along.

People didn't spill their blood for some degenerate singer from UK can spread fisq in a hotel owned by a drug dealer

That "degenerate singer" fundraised lots of money for the warriors on the frontlines with her "degenerate singing". That "drug dealer" funnelled tens of thousands of dollars into the army.

The real question is what did you do during the war, and how did you help those sacrificing their wealth and lives for the freedom of SSC Khaatumo? These people played a huge role in reer SSC winning the war, who tf are you to tell them what they can and can't do in a private venue in their homeland?!

People did not spill their blood for Laascaanood to become a place where people hold music concerts on Eid. How exactly is stopping these things going to prevent Las Anod from being successful?

The security situation has improved significantly over the past few months and the economy is progressing alhamdullilah. The government can focus on multiple things at once.

It has already been made clear that the Shari'ah will be the law of the land in Khaatumo. The government is just doing its job here. Shacabka Laascaanood will always be pro-Shari'ah whether you like it or not.

AS literally stones 13 yro rape victims and regularly massacres civilians, how in the hell are you comparing the Khaatumo administration to them??? :mindblown: :dead:

The division this is causing is very bad for a state that's in its infant stage. One side has to compromise.

Victory comes from Allah and not money and he can take it away easily.

"As long as they're not harming other people" is the liberal mindset that Qomu Lud use when they engage in isgaraac activities. You're probably one of them.

There are youths protesting this. A lot of them. So there is a clear divide from them and the older generations. And most don't trust Al Ictisaam and see this as them trying to get easy points. Why don't they go ban Khat which is haram for instance? This feel performative from them.

I would say it's more of a disagreement than all out division. The concert according to the hotel owner will carry on.
In the first instance, there priorities should be creating law and order, reducing the alcohol consumption in the city and trying to get more revenue in the territory.

Trying to ban concerts when they happen in every other city in Somalia will only lead to out right revolts or people just having under ground parties (which is actually more dangerous).

how strong is Ictisam within SSC anyway.
