Somaliland failed to get any recognition during the Civil-war, Warlord era, TFG, ICU, AY presidency, Sheikh Sharif and HSM but this however has change during Farmaajo's reign, at this rate if he wins the elections Somaliland may be recognised by 2024. Bad news for us all

It has nothing to do with farmajo. And everything to do with Kenya/UAE/Isreal.
In politics, nothing happens by accident. They all started showing interest in SL after Somalia cut ties with UAE and now Kenya. Like SL didn’t exist before. I expect more to follow when Kenya losses the ICJ case.
SL is a card foreigners will forever use against FGS. Until FGS is strong enough to protect its territorial integrity.
