I keep seeing data pointing that parts of East Africa will get more rainfall, especially nearer to Kenya (South Somalia). While around Eritrea it may become drier.
But of course overall, for the entire planet the future does not look good, especially the Mediterranean region will become much drier.
We have to expect and prepare for the worst. We need economic growth to fuel spending on renewable technology and sustainable agro-farming. We need to build reservoirs and water networks and plant millions of native trees. We need to remove cars completely and have a carbon-neutral and reliable public transport system. We need to have access to the technology for carbon-sequestration. We are no where near any of that economically or socially.
