He is probably right it's become a lucrative industry for NGO & security firms to portray Somalia in a certain light even though it's totally safe overall.

but the assumptions made in the thread is partially false most new/recent asylum seekers are not actually Somali nationals, they are different Africans some are Somali but most are not they claim it to exploit the German immigration loopholes. They do the same in the UK etc.. They saw they are Somali nationals and they don't even have to prove it.

I think they should scrutinize it more cos i feel like it's inflated. Because many Africans especially Ethiopians try to arrive in those countries but they are unable to because their countries are deemed safe but Somalia is not and i think the success rate is high if you claim Eritrean, Somali or Syrian.

I say that because a Somali organization that keeps track came out to claim it not too long ago.

There are more discrepancies that support this, which I can share later. I don’t want to derail the thread too much right now. But this issue could easily be addressed if the federal government pushed international bodies to officially recognize Somalia as a safe country. Ethiopia is able to do this and it's literally in a civil war.

I heard about this some American news network did a thing on it and some Kenyan family was interviewed anonymously and was like yeah i lied I don't regret it. Also multiple other Africans have done it I think they go into the refugee camp get assigned somali and hope they get accepted into the West. One guy went in and regretted it but couldn't escape deserved icl.
