Racist cadaans have been spreading negative stereotypes about us since way before the internet, the shit little girls spew while roleplaying as feminists isn't what turned them against us. They hated us before we even stepped foot into "their" countries for reasons outside of our control. You're crazy if you think racist cadaans are getting their ammo primarily from Somali feminists cause in reality they're more likely to get it from secessionists who are much more sophisticated with their disinfo. On top of that, gender wars are usually happening on TikTok, a platform that isn't as popular with right-wingers as X is.

You'd have a point if you were talking about how Somali women (un)intentionally collaborate with Islamophobes/radical feminists to drag Somali men (and consequently Somalia) through the mud cause that's exactly what happened with the Anfac story. The thing about the Anfac hoax (?) is that it would've never gone viral if it wasn't for Dahir Alasow, a Somali man, so to say Somali women are only to blame is incorrect. There was also that time when DorkNN trolls were spreading that video of a beaten up Somali woman. Things like this prove the problem isn't unique to a specific gender.

While I do find the troll posts disgusting, I still don't think it's worth worrying about since the lies spread about Somali men won't stick. Compared to other ethnicities, we don't have any specific abuse phenomena that is strictly associated with us.

Strange thing to say, considering we probably have some of the lowest femicide rates on the globe. Our non-conflict homocides are very low in general and in the diaspora our femicide rates are also low.
