SL oil is like Djibouti the 'acreage' is to small considering the investment over-all barrels returned, 150 kilometers triangle will mean 'less wells' and less wells means less 'production' and it comes down to maths the investment vs the reward and I am not sure what the barrels are in SL, but it will be far less then PL who is estimated to 4 billion and that's large motherfucker 'fields like dharoor n nugaal valley' they are the size of literal nations not 150 kilometer samosa triangle, how many 'wells' will be possible in such small oil fields?

So the investment is worth the return for companies in PL and Ogadeniya due to the large land-size and reserve fields, where-as SL will need to swallow it's pride in this one like 'djibouti' where the land size doesn't warrant 'production'. You need to remember they are taking 50% cut these companies not 100% so they need to 'estimate how much oil' is there and work out their percentage and 'duration of life' and unfortunately the smaller the land size, the lesser the wells. U need big ass oil fields for lot's of oil, it's quite well known so more 'wells' can be dug. DDSI/PL fit that profile well.
