It seems that sector is in full retreat. The peak for Bosaso was 12 years ago in 2006, and the peak for Berbera was 6 years ago in 2012. Land degradation is starting to catch up with Somalia's ability to raise export quality livestock it seems. The largest economic sector is in absolute decline.

It's mostly for exports because 50% of investors are Malaysian, and the other 50% Burcaawi.
