What does this change mean what are going to be the biggest differences ?
" Key provisions include empowering the President to appoint and remove the Prime Minister, establishment of three national political parties, confirmation of a quota for Somali women's representation, and a five-year term for officials. Notably, the document reflects President Hassan Sheikh's influence, although some stakeholders like Puntland State and former leaders have boycotted the process."

And election being 1p1v of course

So does the change the voting system as a whole 4.5. Is the gov going to be more centralised. Does this mean less power for those idiot state leaders

Would have been better if they got rid of PM position.

That's the only thing I supported on ulusows/abgaals dastuur

Yes 4.5 will be abolished if this constitution goes through and it does mean less autonomy for federal states.

Is giving the President the power to appoint and dismiss the PM not a severe lack of check and balances? Shouldn't the PM be elected by the parliament? Or has that always been in Somalia's constitution?
