Isn’t babile region already under oromo rule

Baabile town is under Oromo rule, but 90% of what Oromia calls Baabile woerda is DDS controlled. Baabile is a Somali town that was taken by force. OPDO got many places like Baabile as a bribe from Meles and to shore up their bonafides vis a vis OLF.

Qarsaaduula is controlled by DDS. Look at how deep it is inside the official borders of Oromia. Same thing for Guuredhaamoole, Salaxaad, Qubi, Lagahida etc... DDS is much larger than most maps would have you believe.

It is meant to reinforce Cobosha so DDS can secure the Baabili plain. It is a good area to base Liyu police. Same justification for making Daarimi a degmo, future security.

Jaarso are thinking of getting Jinacsani back into to the Somali region. They also got a degmo called biyada it seems they aren’t to happy having other oromos like Itu or nolu, rule them.

I don't understand how Haradiin is even part of DDS? Why are these people cutoff from the rest of DDS? How were these borders drawn in the first place? Does Haradiin connect to DDS via Somali land that is inside Afar region?

The are connected by dhunyar and daymeed districts or western Sitti that Somalis And afars fight over.

Hardin is not connected to daymeed and it is no where near dhunyaar. Hardin is in between Afar and oromo towns.

@Thegoodshepherd jaarso are the most Somalized Oromo people if they want to become apart of the Somali nation we should support them. They have a lot of fertile land Geri jaarso should unite again as a confederation this would have a benefit of giving us more strategic depth protecting jigjiga, increasing the amount of agricultural land and having mountains to stage a rebellion.

Baabili was never taken by force, karanle voted in 2004 to have baabili to become part of oromo region due to cuqdad with Ogaden, they took 240 tuulos with them

referendum can happen every 10 years, oromo repaid them by forcefully marrying their females, almost killing their sultan and raping his daughter in 2018 - Abdi Iley rescued the sultan and his daughter in a helicopter few months before he was replaced

ONLF was going on about bringing them back - frankly let them stay with their oromo cousins. you become caasi to Ogaden you dont deserve to come back

many wish to come back now after they saw Ogaden is milk compared to evil oromo

They are too far gone. The only ones that remain Somalized are only those that live closest to Jigjiga. Jaarso political leadership is Oromo nationalist. They have no shame and will claim rights in DDS so they can eventually request a referendum and annex more land from Somalis. The best thing we can do is to have the Somali state slowly push them out as they have pushed out the Geri.

As a matter of fact all Jaarso land in DDS should be taken and redistributed to the Geri IDPs in Qoloji. Too bad no one in DDS has the balls to do that. Qoloji has not been made into a maamul magaalo because thr Ogaden and Hawiye who live there don't want Geri to be permanently settled there. Jaarso should pay the price for displacing those people not Ogaden or Hawiye.
