Making districts based on clan is a terrible decision, clearly Cagjar (LA) is pandering to try and save his reputation…
That is normal size town in Doolo and there countless number of them since most people are herders.
That being said Duuban district our first exclusive district will serve not just our countless Qabales/Centers and our Geeljire population but entire MX Mudug making dual nationality more accessible to hundreds of thousands. Small step for Reer Xirsi, giant step for MX.
Not quite sure how Ethiopia works but to my understanding the Qabale come under Centers, the Centers come under the Woredas/Districts and the Woredas come under the Zone which inturn come under Jigjiga directly. Then there are special zones which I think its what the Maamul Magaalo are, they probably also come directly under Jigjiga.
If that is the case Galaadi getting the special town admin is also are huge win for us since MX live in Galaadi as well.
