It has turned into a Somali hate session for some of them. All because that girl made a tweet trying to bring attention to Sudan.
Most of the reposts are the same characters who are attacking the girl who made the original tweet Najma. Take note.

The xostunna account is a dark nn member. The south Sudanese woman has a large platform & she made it clear a long time ago that she hates us. There’s a tweet of her saying she’s disgusted that people assume she’s Somali.. which I find absurd because she doesn’t pass at all lol. What does Islam have to do with skin tone? There are tons of "dark skinned" Muslims that no one would ever question.
It is because shes naked in her profile picture and her account has nothing to do with Islam her religion is clearly liberalism.
Islam is a religion/way of life not a culture or something inherited but practiced. It is not a label to add to their long lists of "identities".

I'm sure this has to do with Somali's pride and ethnocentric beliefs. Most marginalized groups are filled with self-pity and want the same for others. When Somalis speak of themselves highly they do their best to debase us to their own level and won't accept us until we truly internalize our own inferiority.
