Some Somalis only learn the hard way. Must have not grown up around black people who arrogantly display contempt for Islam. We will never be accepted by them. Hope she accepts this lesson humbly.
Gaalo, no matter their skin color or native tongue will never fully accept us until we leave Islam and even then they will still think they’re better than Somalis due to their unabashed arrogance.
To an extent they’re not wrong. The Ethiopian civil war didn’t get much coverage either and the people fighting on both sides were Christians so it’s a bit foolish to blame Sudan’s lack of coverage on IslamophobiaShe was using her platform to bring more attention to Sudan only to be dogpiled by liberal sudanese and their afro-centrist kafir comrades. They are attacking her for shedding light on Sudan and not making it about anti-blackness and mentioning Islam. Is it not a civil war?
Maybe she will wake up and abandon liberalism and its disingenuous and deranged adherents.
They’re so mad no one cares about their civil war dogpilling on najma is a way to let their frustrations out lolShe was using her platform to bring more attention to Sudan only to be dogpiled by liberal sudanese and their afro-centrist kafir comrades. May Allah protect her from the evil they plan and say. Hope she doesn’t their little insignificant tweets get to her mentally. This people are just looking to mentally colonize us atp. We can’t give any qiimo to what they say.She was using her platform to bring more attention to Sudan only to be dogpiled by liberal sudanese and their afro-centrist kafir comrades. Charity starts at home. If these Somalis truly cared about making a difference in the world they’d try to address the many issues that plague our community. Most of the Somalis advocated for causes that have nothing to do with us are just virtue signaling
I wish our community was insular like the Jews. We would be focused on ourself and in building our communities. Most of the online hate Somalis receive could be avoided if we were more insular and just stoped interacting with ajnabis

Tbh I rarely saw anything on the Tigray. I saw the media coverage in the beginning but that didn’t last long. Same thing with the Sudanese civil war. They covered it for like a week and then moved onThe war on Tigray had tons of coverage on MSM, for geopolitical reasons of course as is always the case but it was covered in depth actually.
Somalis are in no position to help others. We have one of the poorest countries in the Ummah. Do you know that before the war in Gaza the worst city in Palestine had a higher HDI than every city in Somalia? We are Muslims so we will always speak up about injustice especially where other Muslims are being oppressed. It is part of our deen and will not change.
IM SORRY
Its all goodIM SORRY
you were spitting facts and i had to show my appreciation

Most conflicts in Africa rarely get coverage regardless of religion. Our region in the world doesn’t matter, look at the Congo for instance

Somalis speak out about oppression that other people face but don’t care when Somalis from different qabils are oppressed. These Somalis are virtue signaling and are munafiqs
How many of these Somalis spoke out about the flooding in Gedo and Galkacyo? How many of them spoke about the war in Sool? Do they speak out when there’s a bombing in Xamar or Bosaso? What about the famine last year?
I am not saying Somalis should be indifferent to the suffering of others. But right now we should be focused on helping ourselves, our survival as people depends on it. We have too much on our plate
I agree that we should care about the struggles that others are facing. We should make dua and donations for others. But the rest of our energy should be focused on solving our own issuesSomalis of course should focus on fixing Somalis and Somalia but can also speak up for other oppressed people and Muslims, it is not mutually exclusive and we are called to do it in Islam.
So yes I agree we should make more efforts in fixing Somalia and helping Somalis of course. I disagree with not speaking on other issues which is what your post I was responding to implied.
