I've been to states like Tennessee, and Missouri where I've visited Somali families that live in areas with no somalis.
Most somali families that arrived to the states usually try to move to Minnesota, Ohio, or Washington. The ones that don't do this either stay in the state they arrived in or move to another one with better job opportunities.
Like for example we have a somali community in Alaska cause some somalis started working in the fishing industry.
