I believe young girls who haven't reached puberty shouldn't wear the hijab yet like it's said in the deen. That's one of the reasons we see so many somali girls twerking while wearing it. Because it has no value anymore. They think it's a uniform. Wearing the hijab is a journey, you learn about your deen and the importance of wearing it. It shouldn't be policed or enforced. I don't like somalis airing our issues to ajnabis but I hope we can give the choice to young somali girls to wear whatever they are comfortable with. That's how you strengthen your deen because you chose it for yourself.
