Ethiopia govt inflate the population of their country for international aid reasons. They are no where near 100 million. At most they are 70 million. Somali region's population is also inflated at 7 million. The real number is between 3 to 4 millions. Somali region is the least populated region in ethiopia after the Afar region. I mean Jigjiga is the region's biggest city an it has population of max 250,000. The rest of the towns in the region have all population less than 60,000. The countryside of somali region is also kind of empty so there aren't lots of people there.
