We've really been lacking in that department for the last few years, Saad Ali Shire is essentially a yes-man and he hasn't really made a compelling case for SL independence to the International Community from what I've seen.

I think that's the minister I was talking about if it was the debates on Aljazeera . He's what I like to call booksmart, very smart guy but absolutely horrible at PR and debating on TV. I liked him because he got a lot of agreements signed with other countries on stuff like democratic governance, counterterrorism, anti-piracy and anti-corruption measures. He did a good job with little resources and I give him credit for that. He got sacked for tribal representation due to clan-imbalance and it was allegedly spearheaded by none other than Musa Behi himself.

Debating Abdi Samatar is pointless for what it's worth. The guy sits in his ivory-tower and likes to preach but none of what he advises was practical for a Somali politician to implement. He is divorced from reality in my opinion which is what ends up happening to a lot of "academics". I think he even advised that the Somali capital should have been moved to Hargeisa or something similarly absurd if i'm not mistaken.

This women is a nurse who was married to varying amount politicians , she isn't qualified to hold high end diplomatic meetings between the secessionist waqooyi galbeed and Somalia.
