Why use foreign alphabets when we already have fully functioning Somali ones like Osmanya?

Osmanya may as well be Latin.

Half of the letters are derived from Latin.

They’re using Oromo leadership for their declaration. Oromos are heavily backing them for a Sidama state. Jawar and co etc and other elite Oromos are pushing for the Sidama, Qimnet and othe Agews to have their own regions.

Good. So Oromo's are a major group in Ethiopia...Why can't you all agree and secede together? You have the manpower for it. But it seems like you guys are divided. Might be because most people are assimilated idk.

I’d love if we’d succeed but it’s also really smart to use Ethiopia, build your region and economy, then succeed. To get up and declare Oromia is suicide. There are numerous ethnicities who have border disputes. Oromo having the largest due to being centralized and bordering almost every ethnic group. It’s better to build, gain allies and succeed after your ready to be in your own shoes.
