Should Somalia join the British commonwealth?

No. You making this thread make me a bit nausea, even the slightest thought of joining the "commonwealth" makes me want to hurl my guts out. Did you forget we fought them for 20 years? Did you forget that one of the first airstrikes on the planet was used against us by the British? The Ogaden and the NFD are not part of Somalia today all because of the British.

The Anglos are inherently anti-Somali and one of our oldest enemies. We have entire poems dedicated to how much we hate them.

Listening to old gabays makes me realize our ancestors were real warriors. They were a different breed who respected each other and knew the true meaning of Somalinimo. Todays leaders can never compare to them

I wholeheartedly advocate for Somalia to join the commonwealth of the United Kingdom, the amount of Money Somalia would receive through the United Kingdom Of Great Britain, in terms of development, trade etc hugely outnumber what somalia currently does with the Arab league.

The United Kingdom would hugely welcome Somalia, and Somalia should at least take advantage in collaborating all countries in the commonwealth including Canada and Australia.

Even non British colonies are joining the Commonwealth like Rwanda. There’s a lot to gain from investment and development. Increased presence on the world stage through a closer relationship with the U.K. is vital for Somalia, so why not!

Kenya would be in civil war and have an economy the size of Timbuktu without that U.K. relationship. Nairobi was built by the Brits to be Africa’s financial capital. They gained a lot from that relationship.
