I am salafi raised and disagree with sufis. But if I was a leader in a Somali region, I'd promote sufism and hunt down the salafi sheikhs and slaughter them, even the the so called moderate ones.

Sufis are homegrown religious group with no foreign ties. The Islahs are led by Egypt sheikhs and the salafis by Saudi sheikhs. Their loyalties is with those people.

We have been fed maybe brainwashed by one version. We never hear the sufi evidence. Surely they can justify their aqeedah. The same sheikhs that criticise sufis, have been taught and educated by sufis. Sheikh Umul use to mock them, now his best student and first cousin, Sh Xasaan, calls him a kafir. What karma.
