Yh, that was pretty much my line of thinking as I was scrolling through this thread; I just didn't want to make any assumptions. There's probably parallels between their history & what happened to the aboriginals in NA when the settlers arrived-- both groups have trouble integrating to this day (although Australian abos seem to be worse off).
