What determines your ethnicity isn’t necessarily dependent on your genetic makeup, it has more to do with culture, geography, language/languages, history, political interests, religion etc. In my opinion, Somalisized Bantus and Benadiris are just as Somali as any other other clan. BBC has PL at 4.9m and OCHCR has it at 3.7m. If you add in SL, out of a population of 18m it's clear the north is larger than 30% of the total population.

15% of the population accounts for all minorities across all of Somalia, not just the somali bantus in the south(they're also longer just in the south, their IDPs are also in the north). I don't even know why you racist somalis are so worried, most of them have urbanized as a result of the civil war, and we all know rural populations have more children than their urbanized counterparts.
