Just because they are both spinning around doesn't make it the same dance. Notice how people who do jaandheer don't make the circular movements and don't stop to spin in the opposite direction, instead they just spin for a while then stop completely or when they do spin in another direction it is only because they moving forwards or backwards they don't change direction while standing in one position.They also do extra things that are not done in the dance from the first vid I showed you.

The second vid I showed you might look similar to Jaandheer but people the people who do jaandheer don't move in sync and don't continuously change direction when moving forwards and backwards. They also don't do some of the movements shown in the second vid.

However you are right about the dance it shows when the vid randomly changes to another vid of people doing jandher shown at 1:34 to 1:41.

but when it comes to what’s seen as authentic Somali culture most people will point to waqooyi and galbeed instead of the south because of the music poetry language history also you know the north especially sanaag region is seen as the birth place of the Somali people
