Same thing in Minnesota, Mpls was its worst in the mid 90s but let cadaans tell it
“Somolians ruined Minneapolis”
it’s just racist to say AAs and Natives can do wrong nowadays
Its just scapegoating, plain and simple.
When Somalis arrived displaced they had to first settle into low income areas because it was the most affordable for them, but those areas were often crime ridden prior to their arrival. In actuality what happens is that when Somalis move in the crime rate actually goes down, they revitalize areas and business and per capita income grows.
You see it most visible with Maine since its not such a large city and was on a decline before Somali arrival:
A dying Maine mill town gets a fresh burst of energy.

Crime went down where Somalis settled but went up everywhere else that's what the data shows.
But it doesn't stop them for scapegoating and making crap about Somalis and Muslim immigrants. Some other Somali poster made a thread some time ago, where someone dug into the data to debunk the accusations:
Since I moved to Maine six years ago, I’ve heard a fair number of people tell the story that Somali immigrants have turned Lewiston into the most crime-ridden city in Maine. Two years ago, I decided to stop listening to stories and start looking at actual crime statistics. The truth is that the...

OFC other stuff mentioned in the thread like the IQ crap is wrong, Somalis score above the state average in test results and fill out local universities and have the highest self-support rates.
You saw the same false crime slander repeated by Donald Trump and the Police Department in Maine had to go out of their way to debunk it again:
The Republican presidential nominee hints at a correlation between Somali immigrants and more crime, but local police chiefs say property crime and violent crime are down.
