Question for the irreligious; does the idea of death bother you?

we are like vegans. :chrisfreshhah::chrisfreshhah:. but foreal whether you are muslim or gaal doesn't matter. I don't judge people on their religious orientation. conclusions are reached through ones own critical thinking skills.

:dead: it's funny because I had you in mind when I wrote that. And that aussie nikka.

I think about it a lot, but then I've seen a lot of it. When someone dies, my own death is the least of what occupies my thoughts. The whole thing is just incredibly strange; that moment to moment change in consciousness. The mechanism. It's to the point I might not be affected by it emotionally anymore, that I've seen it enough of it now that only the strangeness of it remains. That, and it's aftermath (crying/grieving loved ones). They are sadder than the dead person (figuratively...well, literally too).

Death does not bother as much but the idea of what comes after death interest me.

In my life I've saved 2 people from drowning after giving them CPR, the way they thanked me is as if I saved them from the pits of hell. I guess to most people death is a big deal as they are not prepared yet.

No one isn't scared of death, we should be all ready to die tho. However those people were afraid and rightly so.Technically you did save them from the pitts of hell.Funny enough that guy will celebrate by getting drunk.
