That’s incorrect. Puntland follows its own constitution which the FGS recognizes, so that’s not really true. The FGS constitution also stipulates that any issues that effect a particular FMS, that FMS must be consulted. PL is just going by the constitution.

On paper we do have claims to those lands . AGAIN!!! the union was between somaliland and somalia, if today the mogadishu and hargeisa gov agree to separate the union then there is nothing puntland can do about it. Puntland has no legal backing to those claims accept for mhhh... hartidom.

What you don’t understand is reality is not contingent on what Bihi and Farmaajo want. They can both hate Puntland for all I care but Puntland is a stakeholder. If talks occur without Puntland’s presence and decisions are made without Puntland’s input absolutely nothing will change on the ground.
