SL has already left, the only question is if it's gonna rejoin or if xamar is gonna accept it

anyways, even xamar has, during two administrations (HSM, farmaajo) said that SL consists of 5 regions and that eastern sanaag will be under SL, which i guess will be the case if the separation is recognized

i dont think that eastern sanaag will be relevant to such talks as that is a claim put forth by PL that's not recognized by xamar while xamar negotiates on behalf of PL and all other federal states

The only real authority is mogadishu and hargeisa if they agree to separate that they divide the union which was between two countries somalia and somaliland then its only between them . The Somalia government does not recognize Somaliland as a control. Don’t delude yourself. It considers Somaliland to be federal state just like Puntland.

That’s incorrect. Puntland follows its own constitution which the FGS recognizes, so that’s not really true. The FGS constitution also stipulates that any issues that effect a particular FMS, that FMS must be consulted. PL is just going by the constitution.
