I won't stop them from that industry. I just get furious when I see farmers though. Farming can only produce peasant, they are always poor farmers, it's due to trade and work and market rates being very shockingly bad investment. Look at t he price of vegetables and fruits nowhere near the price of meat or fish. U will never see white ppl farming today, they get mexicans. We should be using OROMO or Madows for it, if we are interested in it, not place any majerten labour into it. Yes culture wise Nomads definitely, but you need to do something with your time also. U can't have all the boys dedicated to the camel work, some need to go into the city, some fishing. That's what happened to my family. We are mixed level now of differing occupation. But fishermen trade only lasts certain seasons till the moonsoons come and the waters are to dangerous for them unless we get the right type of equipment to beat the moonsoon I can't see how they can manage to do it all year round with the small boats they have.

Plus sxb it's quick trade, u just jump on the boat, grab a net, you get like 1000 fish in one day. U sell each one for 10 dollars or watever the market price is. Waqti badan maba kaga bixin unlike farmer who is there all day for 1 dollar. While u scored 10 dollars per fish lol, if u do 100 fish a day.
