Don't worry about the border between us and Oromo. We've dealt with our subjugated cousins for the past millennia and would rather give them the land than invaders from Yemen.
LOL, Somalis are watching from across the steeet. You don't have a choice in anything that happens. Tplf will probably concede dir dawa to them which will open up the entire Somali region for them. Which would be good for us.

I hope the tea boy Iley gives it up if they really insist. Only TPLF and Amxaars want to see us distracted by fighting each other.

Once we have the capability to take over the Somali region; I'm sure our cousins will happily give it back.

We're a blessed generation, this shit in Ethiopia while at the same time Kenya's burning

EDIT. And a we're getting back on our feet with the likes of Farmaajo leading us to Glory

how do i use this
I'm talking about in Ethiopia, Arabs along with oromos enslaved neighboring oromo clans after war. Habeshas only taxed them if it went through the region but it got banned many times.

You do know if oromos led Ethiopia they would annex the Somali region right away. They are fighting about the border right now and have already annexed over 80 villages since 2007.
@Menelik III is right, Oromos are expansionists, they have been annexing lands since the weakening of Adal Sultanate.

Oromos are even annexing Somaliland, full of Oromo beggars in the streets and living in slums.

Y'all think a country with the 3rd strongest army on the continent and the most rigid intelligence service can fall to protesters :camby:
I and many others have said for the past year that the US will dump Ethiopia as their lap dog in the region. Well, once the lap dog status is over, the annual aid is also over, which incidentally adds up to the EXACT same number as the current ethiopian yearly budget.

Regime change is coming your way. Even your PM know's this and has complained about it, but there's nothing he can do against the US.

In a recent video footage, Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn accuses the United States for engaging in regime change in Ethiopia.

TPLF is running a client regime that safeguards the US infests in the Horn of Africa. For Its services, the US provides billions of dollars to the regime in the form of aid, loan and military assistance.

If the US wants to change the Ethiopian government, it can do it just by withholding the billions of dollars TPLF receives from the US government, World Bank and IMF. His statements on the Charites Law is also a total lie and misinformation.

Ethiopia is now officially persona non grata to the US military and Trump.

In 2017, there have been no public statements by the Trump administration on Ethiopia’s frontline role in the fight against terrorism. There has been no mentioned Ethiopia as ally or "strategic partner”, and no acknowledgment of Ethiopia’s role in maintaining regional stability. There has been no hint of re-opening the U.S. drone base, closed down in January 2016, used to surveil and launch strikes on al-Shabaab. Mattis’ Djibouti visit, conspicuously avoiding Ethiopia, could suggest that the Trump Administration may not view Ethiopia as an indispensable counterterrorism partner in the Horn.

In January, the Ethiopian regime showed its deep concern over potential changes in U.S. policy under the Trump administration by hiring SGR Government Relations, Lobbying (Washington, D.C) at a cost of $150,000 per month (for a total contract price of $1.8 million.)

The US has established a more robust and active military presence in Somalia.

Elsewhere in the Horn, the administration is sending conventional troops to Somalia for the first time since 1994 to help in the fight against the al Qaeda ally al-Shabab. In April, Trump also gave the Defense Department expanded authority to conduct strikes in the country.
In Libya, CNN's Barbara Starr has reported that the administration is considering a new policy that could significantly expand US involvement, including the deployment of up to 50 special operations forces and the re-opening of the US embassy.

Ethiopia is no longer needed.

You need the US, but the US doesn't need you anymore. Trump has chosen to fight against al kebab together with the SNA, and will deploy over 100.000 soldiers in the coming 2 years.

Egypt and the arab countries are against ethiopia due to the Nile dam.

Egypt and specifically Al-sisi told Trump to directly assist Somalia instead of ethiopia, just as it has started to do itself in the past year.

Ethiopia's intelligence apparatus is scary efficient.

Protesters won't be more than a nuisance even if the numbers go up 10x.

Without weapons they can't threaten anyone...and try smuggling them in when Ethiopia has road blocks every 10 meters.

Also Oromos suffer from Stockholm syndrome after centuries of occupation and slavery and somehow consider themselves Habeshi.
Realist thing ever right there. This sums up why the Tigray have so much power. All the top business people are tigray, media is tigray owned, highest military and intel officer class are purely tigray, yet all the lower rung and uneducated cannon fodder in the army are purely Oromo. Good luck with your civil disobedience. That works in America where civil rights actually exist, not in a military dictatorship.

Nice wishful thinking there bud, make sure you write that in block capitals for Santa in December.

Oromo's can't even lead themselves to freedom after 600 years, how are you gonna face the mighty Somalis & abti Farmaajo in charge :hemad:

We have an actual state, with a US and Egypt backed up and coming army, while Oromo's have nothing but donkeys, grass and tigray left over canjeero.

We don't have beef with the Oromo's though, unless they become expansionists like the tigray and amhara. Otherwise it'll be a calm neighborhood..

This is Somalia to Ethiopia; :shaq:''Just wait after finishing al'kabaab and my army is rebuild''

Anyway good news bro that USA is seeing ethiopia for what it is ''USELESS AND MONEYWASTING'', this country of aids povertystricken called ethiopia has been milking USA and western countries for almost 25 years now, on the basis of fighting terrorism and ''rogue'' state Eritrea, which has been nothing but lies and of little to no success.

:rejoice:This is USA to President Farmajo of Somalia;

''Washington has thrown its backing behind the Somali government in its bid to divide the Islamist movement.''

Exactly, Obama backed ethiopia because Gayle Smith was in love with an ethiopian commander since the 70's.

http://www.countercurrents.org/mountain011210.htm

Once the mistress of a marxist guerilla fighter in the Horn of Africa, today Gayle Smith is a senior advisor to Barack Obama in the White House, USA.

Gayle Smith started her career in service to the American Empire as an undercover CIA operative posing as a journalist in the Horn of Africa in the late 1970’s. Taking her duty seriously, she became the mistress of a guerilla fighter known by the nom de guerre of “Jamaica” in the Marxist-Leninist-Enver Hoxha-ite Tigrayan Peoples Liberation Front (TPLF), then fighting for independence from the Soviet Union supported Mengistu regime in Ethiopia.

As a close confidant to the leadership of the TPLF, Gayle Smith would spend the decade of the 1980’s as the liaison between the CIA and Meles Zenawi, the leader of the TPLF who was to become the Prime Minister of Ethiopia after the defeat and overthrow of the Mengistu regime by the Eritrean independence movement in 1991.

Gayle Smith is the person most responsible for the rise to power and elevation to international leadership status of Ethiopia’s Meles Zenawi, one of the most corrupt, bloodthirsty genocidal killers of modern times who would once again stride the world stage at the G-20 meeting held in Korea.

Gayle Smith is no longer in the administration and Trump isn't in love with a habashi = ethiopia going down the drain quickly.

:ohhh:So that was Obama's policy on ethiopia, the policy based on love by some xabashi loving fat mistress
Gayle Smith was the main architect of the $12 Billion habashi aid, which her lover in the ethiopian army personally benefited from.

Gayle Smith is a hardcore Clinton and Obama supporter. She is one of the casualties and intended targets of Trump's "Drain the swamp" process.

Trump had her in his sights before he even won the presidency through Sean Spicer who represents the highest level of the US military.
Yes, that Spicer.

Sean Spicer wasn't a regular joe, he's a commander in the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon.

That's why he hasn't named anyone to head the Africa division at the US state department, because he doesn't want anyone that Gayle could possibly influence to continue the status in the Horn. Trump has exclusively entrusted the US military to handle the horn, even the CIA is being pulled out of the horn by the day. The unofficial head of Africa for Trump's government is secretly the head of US AFRICOM. The commander of AFRICOM has a very close working relationship with Farmaajo and the SNA and regularly flies to Xamar to consult with the President and the Somali Joint Chiefs. Many American special forces are embedded with the SNA and provide logistics and air support. AMISOM was never allowed to have an official air force for this very reason.

The Americans refuse to co-operate with ethiopia/kenya/amisom when they go on raids with the SNA, even going so far as keeping their missions secret from everyone else other than the SNA.

Trump being elected is the worst thing for ethiopia. Saudi and egypt despise and want to take down ethiopia, but Gayle was always an obstacle. Not anymore, hence why desalegn and the tplf are very scared right now.

The US military are doing some great work down there right now, hence why al kebab scalps are being taken on a weekly basis now.
