You don't read. This is evident by the fact that you have not responded to anything I've written in response to you.

Difficult to have a conversation with someone like that.

Bro you have misunderstood me since my firts reply. I am merely trying to point you to what i am actually saying.

I did respond by informing you that geography is an important factor.

Clearly you have no understanding of where drone strikes have been deployed before (other than South Somalia), and the impacts they've had. In Northern Pakistan, where the Taliban similarly hides in mountains and caves, the civilian casualty rates are still incredibly high, typically between 70%-90%.

Read more about this subject before making definitive statements on a topic you have little understanding of.

You're comparing apples with oranges. The Taliban actually control villages, or have Pashtun villagers hiding them in their villages and towns. They're not confined to the mountains unlike Alshabab. Nor does Alshabab control and enforce their will in any PL city/village. They're literally hiding in the mountains. Their top leadership aren't Somalis, so the likely hood of them attending a wedding or visiting family members are nihil.

I understand your point, but it is not applicable to Puntland. PL hates terrorists, even before the war on terror we were fighting Jihadi groups on our own and defeated them. Your scenario is however applicable to the south. Alshabab controls villages there, make use of the hospital, have alliances with the local villagers. That's not the case in Puntland

You're confusing Pakistan and Afghanistan. The Taliban does not control any areas of Northern Pakistan, instead they exclusively do hit and run tactics from their mountain strongholds in Waziristan. They are holed up in villages and towns as well, as spies and informants, much like Al Shabaab is throughout the Horn of Africa.

It is a perfect comparison for what is happening in Puntland.

No it's not, I know Pashtuns more than you nig.g.a. Ask the vets of this forum

The Pashtuns are loyal to Taliban and host them. Besides Taliban is not even on the list of terror organisations of the US. You are literally comparing apples to oranges

So if you know the Pashtuns and the Taliban so well, tell me what area do they "actually control villages in", as you put it. Provide evidence.

Here is proof that you have no idea what you are talking about:

US State Department - List of Foreign Terrorist Organizations

The above is from US State Department list of Foreign Terrorist organisations (link is above the picture). I've marked in read the key detail. Since, you know the Pashtun's so well, tell me who Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan are? That's right the Taliban in Pakistan, the very organisation I was referring to. Are you still going to spout nonsense about how they are not considered on the list of terror organisations of the US?

Vet or no vet on this forum, you've just been caught making s**t up.

You dumb f*ck, Taliban in Afghanistan is not on the terror list. I bet you didn't know that. The pakistan variant, which trains and gives sanctuary to their Pashtun brethern, is on it to please the Pakistan and assure them their cooperation against Taliban. There are many pashtuns in the tribal area of Pakistan, so there is also border issues.. Taliban is in Kabul, logar, Jalalabad and it controls 20% of Afghanistan. Does Alshabab control 20% of Puntland?

The freaking US was having a negotiations with the Taliban in Qatar. Would the US negotiation with terrorist group or a defeated group 'hiding in the mountains'? The talks resulted in US withdrawing their troops. Big win for a desolated group, don't you think

Who was talking about Taliban in Afghanistan? Learn to read. I have been talking about the Taliban in Northern Pakistan from the very beginning.

Again learn to read, it comes in handy sometimes.

I think between the two of us, it is clear who has a khat ridden brain. One of us presents his facts and figures in a calm, educated manner. The other spews utter nonsense that no-one was talking about, and throws around incoherent insults like a 13 yr old girl on her first period, after he is shown to be a fraud.

I'll let the rest of the board figure who is who ;). In the meantime, I hope you don't kiss your mother with that foul mouth of yours. If you do, waa iney edeb ku barto.

I have a good nose for bullshit, so the next time you're thinking of making s**t up, make sure you don't do it in my presence, or I will have to embarrass you again ;).
