Indeed they did, but having them in power is an insult to democracy. Literally.

Getting convicted of corruption, being on the Panama Paper and absconding, and dare try to pull the strings, the literal definition of shamelessness.

I agree 100%

My argument was that claiming that the majority of Pakistanis support Imran Khan as other users have claimed, is false.

The opposition are also not supported by the majority of the population and are more shameless/amoral.

Instead of picking sides, we should just feel sorry that Pakistan never had a leader complete a full term in office.

Why are you so adamant about defending the US?

And the levers to back a coup could have already been in place.

Im not defending them. I have said that I do think they had a role in this.

But they didn’t overthrow him. Claiming otherwise actually legitimises the US claim that anti-imperialists peddle misinformation and base their viewpoints entirely on US-hatred.

So your rhetoric does more to support the US than mine.

Lol, I’m anti-US and anti-Western imperialism to the hilt.

You say this but your posts might as well come directly from Jen Psaki. In every issue of contention, I've always seen you take the US-aligned side. I have never seen you take the opposing side.

When the US pulled out of Afghanistan, you were attacking the Taliban and you were attacking me for being glad that the Muslims won against the invaders. You were comparing the Taliban to Pablo Escobar.

You are hardline pro-Ukraine.

This thing happens and this is not the first thread where you come and say "the US wasn't involved in this". Your position somehow by some strange coincidence seems to always match that of the White House.

what? people who say the US likely had a role in this are the real backers of the US? this is crazier than the "libs are the REAL racists" thing the Fox News types say

Wait... you are up in arms about the Uyghurs' plight? You? Wow, I'm surprised. Mashallah.

The right-wing support the Uyghur genocide because it aligns with their anti-China position.

Many of these “anti-Imperialist” Muslims deny the Uyghur genocide because it doesn’t align with their “China > US” position.

Neither group is genuine in their beliefs.

Muhammad PBUH was illiterate and not at all erudite so I highly doubt he plagiarised any academic account, let alone one in a foreign language.

I don’t particularly mind people criticising Islam but this one is probably the least logical.

This is what kind of makes me angry. So- people taking the side that isn't US-aligned in contentious issues- for you, that's a big issue and you come in thread after thread to try to shut it down and defend whatever the US-aligned position is at the moment.... but you don't mind people attacking Islam?

People attack Islam- that's okay to you but they suggest the US had a role in overthrowing Imran Khan- that's when they've gone too far in your book?

I just think it's really reprehensible.

Well not intentionally but people like you is why the US military complex gets billions of dollars for “cybersecurity operations”.

The US military industrial complex needs an enemy to justify billions in spending and what better way than a bunch of idiots on the internet that attach the US’s name to everything in the world.

They will call it “misinformation” and then ask Congress for billions of dollars to “combat” this “cyber warfare”.

When did I say that I have a problem with people criticising the US?

Don’t tell me you’re lying in Ramadan.

yes, it is "misinformation" to believe a country that has an extensive documented history of backing foreign coups may have had some involvement in backing a foreign coup... the money that the US spends to fight "misinformation", maybe you're part of it, maybe you're just telling me about your job

The US is better than the Taliban.

The US has never been wrong in any European conflict.

These are probably the only two areas you will see me support the US.

When it comes to the Middle East or Islam, I am very sceptical of anything American.

I wouldn’t call it misinformation, that’s why I put in quotation marks.

In case you didn’t know, in the English language you put quotation marks on stuff that other people say and not yourself.

In this instance, I was quoting what a US official would make of your comments.

this is not wrong or right. or a i love usa in europe sheeko. i am neutral and the geeljire in me wants to see crazy action. you defend uncle sam like @Omar del Sur does with china. :camby:

I support the US in Europe and don’t when it’s a non-European affair.

It’s a very simple position and backed by countless facts and historical narratives.

really. kkk

I don’t support them in that conflict tho. They had no right being there and committed numerous war crimes.

But that doesn’t mean the Taliban should be supported. They’re worse than the US.
