4m is a stretch, PL always includes sool and sanaag and that would put us around 3m at best.

I've been posting news all year about how PL is improving its taxation system and now taxing more areas. The fact is that PL is now paying its government workers on time with maybe some delay few days which they are looking to improve. Fact is soldiers are paid now and will use a biometric system to end ghost soldiers demanding for salary all that with tax from PL without including money we get from worldbank and UN etc as said by the finance minister.

I was expecting improvement this year and now it's here, who knows maybe Deni got hold of more money to PL gov. Even if it's overestimated budget(most nations overestimate) I'll take that over underestimated budget.

Their increasing 'tariffs' which is wrong, big budget is not how a govt operates, u want to service your economy with as least possible taxes. These niggas are going against some of basic fundamentals of government and taxation revenue. U want more 'spending' to happen locally and better people lives not go into a 'servicing' economy. This is one of the reasons 'hamar and hargeisa' come to PL, the ppl are richer due to less taxes and means increased economy.

Please do not change this model, do not increase taxes, it shows incompetence financial management. There is no way the govt ever really builds infrastructure, hospitals, schools. @Samaalism As for increasing taxes on SL/GM/ and anyone that is connected to the PL 'trade hub' isn't a problem for me. I am just angry they increased it on locals also. This will mean less spending in our market--place, therefore less hiring. Do I want to see our govt use our taxes responsibily and build the required 'infrastructure' to generate growth of course I do. Do I know it's highly unlikely and will be embezzled by corrupt companies or officials, most likely.

That's why I prefer a low tax approach, let's not bother our people taxes untill we reach a governance level that is 'trustworthy' is my point and then they can increase the taxes. But while our governance isn't up to scratch, why 'increase the taxes'? As for increasing taxes on non puntites who use our infrastructure like roads and other services, I do support that. I support Deni PL FIRST economic approach this is a must. We do not lose anything because most of our 'trade' is local in PL, it's not connected to SL so you can't retailate bruv.
