Everyone didn't expect this but thanks to our private sector who achieved immense achievement and worked through hard conditions to provide electricity to every single house this gives me hope that we still have chance to come out top.

We can have 100% access in electricity in 20 years time, we gotta keep our TFR 5+ until 2050. Only thing we have on our favour against our neighbours/rivals is our fertility rate and we gotta keep it up.

Somalia has way more natural resources, deepwater ports (they built their first in 1986!), stronger entrepreneurial culture and is situated at a greater strategic location than Mauritania. I think the country could surprise the world if it was managed correctly. When we failed we did it spectacularly and I think our success will be just as epic.

I have to admit that it has gone better as the urbanization rate has risen, but the absence of a proper government have prevented the implementation of laws on all levels of the state. InshAllah, this will come into fruition soon.

Note that libya algeria and ghana are all oil rich countries and two of them ranks amongst the richest countries in the african continent. These are the ones somalia is competing with.

Yeah. Some of the FMS have already managed to kick-start on a local level. As the state-building process continues, it needs coordination with federal institutions and improvement of the overall judicial system.

Note that egypt algeria and ghana are all oil rich countries that ranka amongst the richest countries in the african continent. These are the ones somalia is competing with.

Somalia doesn't really have resources, that's a bit of a myth. We have 2 rivers, a long coast and that's about it. I don't think there was ever a future where Somalia becomes a wealthy nation, we needed a lot of oil and gas for that.
