I was talking about Asians buddy. Them traveling around unfettered caused the virus to spread. Some of them even bragged about hiding their symptoms and traveling to France earlier in the year.

I see no reason why it would go away in weeks. Just a month a go everything was fine in the West and they now have shut everything down for a few hundred-low thousands of confirmed cases.

If Western governments let go of the social distancing policies in place now numbers will just rise again.

Only a vaccine could stop this madness.

For the posters here, I would be more worried about your job security. I think something worse than the 2008-2010 economic crisis will occur.

I anticipate a major recession dare I say depression of sorts like a postmodern 1930s (not the opulence of the roaring 20s, sadly). Expect a lot of money to be made by some and lost by others particularly small businesses. There will likely be a surge in post secondary enrollment as a consequence of dwindling job security.
