They literally follow us everywhere & keep up with everything we do like sheโs literally in Nashville which has a decent sized Somali community and no, I donโt think thatโs a coincidence. MN, Seattle, Columbus and Nashville? This isnโt normal. Like @trf said itโs Somali woman cosplay. Their ancestors created no clothing for them to wear proudly so they imitate us and try to justify it with diff excuses like โweโre neighbors so itโs no surprise our cultures have things in commonโ or โitโs east african cultureโ but ask yourself why you never see other Ethiopians dress like this or why you donโt see us imitating them & whatever they wear (I couldnโt even tell you what they wear because I donโt know anything about their culture lol). This is cultural appropriation and these people are the same people who have no issue calling out an caadan woman in braids or whatever but will fight for the right to dress like us (but not credit us). This is beyond creepyView attachment 361591
I know itโs the minority that does these stuff but Itโs lowkey a serious problem though. Some of them just out right copy it with no creativity and just name it completely different.
