Galan is the largest in Horn of Africa.

😂😂 what am I making up here
Again, I know many Ciise Sacad Muuse Reer Galan, which you claim. My point is this: if you want to get into the conversation about who’s assimilated and who’s not, take a DNA test. The days of making claims without evidence are over. Do your DNA test, or we’re just going to assume you’re another Abaa Gadaa trying to assimilate people online in 2025.

what claims do you mean saxib.

Saxib you claim Reer Galan to be of Oromo origin, right? And I mean the Afran Qallo one’s and the Ciise one’s
Bro if not what else could we be? I came to this conclusion by looking at the similar sub clan names we have on both sides speaking with elders.

Also if you ask any ciise Furlabah, Wardiq, and Reer Harla are not Ciise and they are assimilated so it rises some suspicious sxb if you hear what I mean.

One thing I've never understood is that why is the dialect on the other side of the ethiopoan border of bakool and bay where the rahaweyn lived not closer to af -maay ?
Bay doesn’t share a border with Ethiopia, on the bakool side it’s mostly ogadens who live there from the cities of yeed, ceelberde

I heard that, inshallah, we’ll get the results soon. One Ciise guy told me that all Ciise have the T haplogroup, but I doubt he tested every single sub-subclan. We’ll see, saxib. But if you take the test, we can finally put this behind us at least for Reer Galan or are you actually Oromo and don’t want to find out you’re Somali?

Man said that the Wardiq who are on the throne of the Ciise Ugaasate were assimilated :dead:

It was 3 years ago when he was waffling about DNA in random threads.

So, interest and awareness was there. Definitely He saw the name similarities and ran with it as a cover. Comfortably troll as an oromo while simultaneously claiming he's Somali. If he knew he was Somali why would he keep insisting he was an Oromo? No Somali would claim to be of them folk while knowing his roots. Now a thought on the tiny chance that these "Galans" spread out among a few clans were Oromo. Then I say they were slaves. Galan name appears in few independent Oromo tribes(Under the Borana as Galaan son of daacci son of Ada'a something oromo and a few times under the barentu branch check it on wikipedia) and it's said this galan is the first son of borana. It wouldn't be far fetched for these confederation of freed slaves of diverse oromo clans to claim the first son of borana as their ancestor as a rallying unifying call, no?

Zaylac was one of the main coastal cities through which they were exported to Arabia alongside Tadjourah in Djibouti. Lowkey the estimates are horrifying. This was only in the north. The south is a whole another business

Wouldn't be far fetched for wealthy cisse folks to have owned some. These Islamized oromos Once freed, Somalis in their boundless Naxariis inspired by Islamic values allowed them to live amongst us. Otherwise I don't see us allowing a bunch of randoms from a historically enemy race to just waltz in and claim us right under our noses.

This individual might be Reer Galan if he even is but he’s clearly not Ciise or Somali. As long as he is willing to take the DNA that is

Story is fabricated with truth a lie, Warra Galan are Barentuma Oromo clans trace there lineage paternally.
seriously story even says a river opened and closed for one clan

any elder ciise can confirm I swear by Allah this is what ive heard from many people even once when I was in ET once I learnt that Furlabah was not ciise aswell according to the elders. Furlabah and Wardiq are not ciise but it is true they are reer ugaas.

akhi It is clear here to me that you dont know anything about Oromo tribes and your just speaking for the sake of it.

Borona is divided into 9 clans im pretty sure, and Galan is a sub sub sub division of the Tulama Oromo branch who are part of Borona Major clan (they live in Addis Ababa and shewa), but you have confused the Borona Major clan for the Sabbo Goona Borona they are also part of Major Borona clan family and are neighbours with the somali, they returned raids with the Somali we see in history Somali tribes were clients of Oromos and some Oromos were enslaved by Somalis but on both sides they were treated good. my point here is the Oromo that your talking about is Sabbo Bona Borona and not the Galan of Shewa who never had no interactions with somalis in terms of slave trade, do not be confused between the two.

no somalis in Harar pal.
In medieval times, the population of Harar was Harari (shockers!). The Harari are Somali if you follow certain definitions of what a Somali is. Even so beyond the walls was a mostly Somali population of farmers and beyond them even more Somali pastoralists.

Of course the Oromo migration made some of the surrounding areas Oromo while modern migrations under various Ethiopian occupiers have made the city mostly Oromo-Amhara.
