Braukamper's work is unreliable
Warra Qallu are not somali infact it is a institution within the Gada system and most clans of oromo have Qallu in them like Wollo, Guji, Ittu, Arussi, Borona some of these groups are completely isolated from any contact with the somali. Qallu is descended from Wollo.
Braukamper claims Oromos in Arussi became muslim anytime during the life of Sheikh Hussein he even cites Paulitschke
Sheikh Hussein (13-16th century) islamisation of the Arussi Oromo
"Among the southern Galla the Panigal are said to have been the first to have adopted Islam. Shaikh Husayn, a Somali from Harar, had preached it to them. At which time this happened cannot be defined. ... The Panigal permitted him to settle among themselves, accepted Islam, and Husayn could proceed from them to spread Muhammad's faith among the Borana, Gerire, and Arussi. He is said to have translated the Qur'Γ€n into the Galla language, and this translation is said to have been preserved there up to the present, a fact which is doubtable, however. Although only one half of the Panigal could be Islamized, Husayn's name enjoys high prestige among all of them. His grave is carefully looked after, and if Somali people come there they are kindly treated and presented with horses and ivory. Shaikh Husayn's grave, about which I heard the people of Berbera talk a lot, is a stone sarcophagus within a large courtyard surrounded by arcades. Women and children are not allowed inside, and animals are slaughtered there. A Somali and a Galla are engaged to take care of this sepulchre". (2004 Braukamper p136)
Places like Aw Nugus near Kombolcha and Aw "AlT FIf in Anano became important for the Islamization of the Oromo in the eastern parts of the HarΓ€r Plateau. 30
Aw Nugus, where Buba IbrΓ€him, a contemporary of Abadir is said to be buried, developed as a focus of conversion of the Nole-Oromo."'
Aw "Alt Fif was a HarΓ€ri saint whose shrine is situated in Anano, c. 25 km northeast of HarΓ€r at the border between the highlands occupied by Garso-Oromo and the lowlands inhabited by Issa-Somali. He was one of the sons of Abadir. The local Oromo use to address him with the words "Ali Fif bela fifi!" (Ali Fif, take away misfortune).32 A popular tradition reports that the saint once sent his daughter to fetch water for him which he needed for his prayers. But she spent her time at the river playing with a young man and kept her father waiting. He then became furious, cursed his daughter and her friend and turned both of them into a rock which is still to be seen today. Then he took his spear and stuck it into the ground. Immediately a spring gushed out from the hole which was henceforth called Burka Ali Fif. Oromo and Somali pilgrims mainly gather at the saint's shrine for the birthday of the Prophet (mawlΓΌd al-nabi) and for thanksgiving after the harvest. (Braukamper 2004 p114)
Abadir lived in the 13th century bro he literally mentions the Jarso and Nole this was the early Islamisation for oromos.
some of his work is accurate but a majority is wrong he links Oromo tribes to Hadiya and he even gives some Arab geanology because the clan names to him sounded Arab

These are the clan names he tried resembling to Arab
136
He corrupts the Oromo names/words trying to make them sound Arab but still fails

kkkk
He claims The country between Jubbaland and Hargeisa was Hadiya, Sidama, and Harari land before the 16th century and then says the Somali migrated to the area in the 18th century, he links Harla to Harari, and says Harlas are semetic so to cite him as a source is pretty controversial.
He never says Somalis are 2/3 of the city he differentiates Somalis and beduins here in the same page

Abdel Majid was an Alla oromo who succeeded Ahmed and was his Father in-law
in the emergency, a town assembly at first appointed a certain Abdallahi Abd al-Mejid. He was related to the Alia, and his appointment may have been intended to appease these clans. Three hours after his election, Abdallahi was pushed off the throne by a cousin of the late amir, one Khalifa Citra, whose father was the same Abd al-Rahman whom Abd al-Karim had deposed in 1825
and whose alliance with the Babile seems to have made him so unloved 59
by the townsmen. Caulk-379

Bro this does not change the Fact that his people are still in Burqa Tirtira there is any sources that claim he was an oromo why would Amir Muhamed ibn Abdulshakur favour the oromo so much so that the Harari and somali clans appealed to Egypt for help.
Muktar the Egyptian officer was also a Eye witness of the Amir and says that the Oromo amir persecuted the Harari.
Moktar, 385
Adare only lived in Harar back then Harar was limited to the Jugol so they lived inside the Jugol up to the gates was the land of the Oromos.
