-Very strategically located
-Full of resources
-Inhabited by a people who will view political leadership by anyone other then their clan as tantamount to the very same foreign occupation you’re lamenting


Yes foreign entities have heavy influence and are vying for control. You parade and support sweeping the rug from under the feet of ANY Government you feel doesn’t work in your clan interest yet will be the first to condemn foreign influence. How do you reconcile those to?

If you care about food security then you should know al shabab are controlling all the fertile land and potentially the bread basket of the Somali nation. Al shabab are the main reason of the killings and bombings in muqdisho, so of course it's a misplaced priority to attack already stable areas of the country , where any indifference could be solved through diplomatic channels.. The most obvious benefit is the investment we own 55% whilst still having workers on the ground and since their investment the equipment we need to manage the port. Prior to their involvement it was in bad shape and was generally trash hence the increase of revenue we see once they took over management. I support Puntland and Federalism as you support your UNCLE Farmaajo and his Centralist agenda.

We have not rejected any leader, in fact, HSM and Shariif all found ways to negotiate and discuss issues with the stakeholders of the nation.

For all their faults, none of them has been as bad as Farmaajo.
