In 1993 all the officials were hand selected by the elders and etc.It was in 2005 that MPs were democratically elected however with Dhulbahante their MPs were hand picked in Hargeisa to represent.
Fast forward 16 years they are no longer longer handpicked.You have 6 people elected MPs that are Dhulbahante which illustrates that the notion that SL is "losing" them is pure bullshit.
To add to this fact votes in Sool have gone up by 60% compare to the 2017 presidential which will continue to rise for the feasible future.
To give you further perspective into Sool democratisation with SL.The district of Lascaanood has more registered voters then your entire "pilot" elections in the districts of Qardho, Eyl and Ufayn
We don't deny that they deserve more seats much like how Habar Awal deserve more seats too.However, one needs more voters and the other needs the whole electorate system to change.
