This isn't new there is a clip of him from last year where he said something similar before, among other things he said Somalia doesn't produce or export anything. When in reality Somalia is one of worlds highest exporter of meat/livestock, myrh, frankincense, sesame, lemons and banana. It is also growing exporter of seafood. Blue states have more diversified economy whereas red states rely on a single industry like oil or agriculture among many other things. New Mexico is the only equivelant Democrat run state that is poor the rest are Republican. It's an outlier for a number of reasons and Alabama is one of the poorest states in the country

When Tech companies move to poor republican states and towns to avoid taxes they actually just take advantage of poor communities and lax regulation rather than making it a better place to live in. Most of the money they even generate is not even reinvested into the community and they rely on cheap labor.
For example for this town , SpaceX has caused earthquakes, rampant workplace injuries, skirted regulations, threatened wildlife, and displaced local communities, while securing millions in corporate welfare.

Since they don't pay taxes in red states none of the money these companies generate is re-invested into the areas from which they operate. They literally just extract and displace people.
We already saw with the MAGA outrage over Indian HB1 debacle and it's solely due to corporate greed. But they don't get that it's linked to republican policies that enable it. Americans have way worse problems than Europeans like i have described in the other page. It's not even stagnation or aging population. But lets forget about Tariffs in the upcoming problems which will just destroy industries, make things more expensive for the average American for a moment.
They are already rolling out government spending cuts which will send many Americans into poverty and out of work.
They going to cut out social security 21%, they are going to cut out medicare, which comes to 15 per cent of total US federal government expenditure, and all the expenditure on education, transportation, and agriculture. (they already approved a bill for this in congress)
In total they are going to cut 2 trillion dollars according to Elon , slashing away. If you cut those dollars out of the system, the growth of the US economy will decline. Employment in the US economy will decline. The number of jobs available in the US economy will fall. The rate of wage inflation in the US economy will decline, and it's already pretty bad,
Since America depends on foreign illegal labour for various industries. The deportations alone would knock $6.4 trillion off American output over Trump’s term in office, according to the economists’ model.
