This isn't new there is a clip of him from last year where he said something similar before, among other things he said Somalia doesn't produce or export anything. When in reality Somalia is one of worlds highest exporter of meat/livestock, myrh, frankincense, sesame, lemons and banana. It is also growing exporter of seafood. It's on pace to become a manufacturing hub of East Africa (i shared in another thread) and a leader in exporting energy.
But lets break this down. Why he is wrong and the hypocrisy of it all.
"It also consistently ranks as one of the most violent and dangerous"
Nevermind the fact most of Somalia 2/3rd of it is safe and governed. Mogadishu and it's surroundings have experienced increase in stability as well. The instability you see pervasive in south central part of the country is directly due to foreign interference that the US is responsible for.
This is also particularly rich coming from an American. America has per capita many times the homicide rate of Somalia and theft is far more common. You have entire neighborhoods in America that operate like war zones controlled by gang members that are armed with guns, that shoot up each-others turf.
In Somalia kids can attend universities and schools without worrying about mass shootings like in America, that happens every other day or week.

Mogadishu or any other Somali city don't even crack the top 50 list of dangerous cities in the world. Yet, you have 4 American cities represented.
In Somalia i can operate a shop or business without needing to worry about being shot at and robbed at gun point.
There is an American visitor that was even shocked at the fact that you can have an cash exchange out in the open with no guns or security with or any fear of theft when visiting Northern Somalia
"That speaks to the safety situation the fact that you can have all that money out with no guns, knives, security, police etc that's interesting"
"(likely due at least in part to the prevalence of in-breeding in her culture)."
Somalis don't practice inbreeding, Somalis marry outside their clan family line more than anyone. Ilhan Omar for example come from 2 unrelated family lines, who are from far opposite sides of the country on her mom and dad side.

The lack of inbreeding also shows in the fact that we have one of the lowest rates of birth defects in the world. If you look up genetic disorders commonly associated with inbreeding , it's rare in Somalia.
We can't say the same for his hillbilly redneck ilks in some parts of America , his people are notorious to be known as inbreds. These are the real low IQ mentally deficient criminals that escaped Britain in 1800s to live like white trash in the south
The same Red Neck Southerners who are so backward, self-isolationist and unproductive they get welfare aid from the more progressive liberal Northern States to keep themselves afloat.

A photographer has shared a fascinating and poignant insight into the world of a family dubbed 'America's most inbred', who communicate largely in grunts and live in squalor in rural West Virginia.

Compared to the Bue states they have worse health care, life expectancy, health outcomes, educational attainment, infrastructure and higher poverty . For all their complaint about people freeloading from the government, they are the biggest recipient of welfare and government subsidies. Elon Musk and Donald Trump with all their government slashing is going to hit places like Tennese from where he is from the hardest and drive many of them into deeper poverty.
I was watching a Daily show segment and this came up on my recommended feed. He goes on about how red states have worse health care, life expectancy, health outcomes, educational attainment, infrastructure and higher poverty than blue states. The reasons he gives is that they have worse...

Whereas Somalis are one of the most self-reliant people in America with a self-suppport index of 80. We won't be really affected much because of how adaptable we are and with our informal network of support systems outside the government.
