It depends if they've even done enough family research before taking the test, if they've did enough research then there won't be any shock . Yes it is. Somalis have significant Natufian dna, If you know anything about genetics, then you’ll know it’s enough to find some Somalis who are very Arab looking.

We have people, who think they are Muslim, slaughtering people, for refusing to follow a certain political ideology. For example, what Siad Barre's regime did, and what happened in LaasCaanood. Not to mention, all the bullshit aano qabiil, etc, etc.

These are all people, who think they are good people, righteous even.

The decline in Somalia wasn't caused by Islam but occurred when we embraced non-believing political ideologies. Siad Barre, for instance, adopted socialism and communism, trying to make us liberal and Western. In the end, he was betrayed by the very people he sought to emulate, leading to our humiliation and downfall.

Today, Somalia isn't governed by Islamic principles but by a corrupt democracy and parliament. We're ruled by individuals who are more interested in personal gain, feasting on the resources and aid meant for the people. Nobody takes responsibility because it's become a den of thieves.

Comparing this to countries like Saudi Arabia and other Gulf nations, we once stood ahead of them. However, they never strayed from the path of faith, even when we, in our pride, embraced non-believing ideologies. Now, while they've patiently followed the way of Islam, utilizing the resources Allah provided without deviating, we find ourselves at the bottom of the barrel due to our deviation from faith and our embrace of ideologies that lead us astray.

Imam Ahmed ibn Hanbal related in his musnad (3365) the following description that the Messenger ﷺ gave of Musa’s color:

وَرَأَيْتُ مُوسَى أَسْحَمَ آدَمَ

“Musa was jet-black skinned.”

Muslim relates in his Sahih (239 and 243) that Ibn Abbas said that the Messenger ﷺ described Musa’s appearance as follows:

َأَمَّا مُوسَى فَرَجُلٌ آدَمُ جَعْدٌ

As for Musa, he was black-skinned and kinky-haired. (hadith 243)

I've met several very light somalis with no non-cushitic mixture. Why is it a debate on the most basic things about Somali with you? Do you even live around Somalis?
