Maamul goboledka cusub Waqooyi-Bari (north east state)- the newest federal state in Somalia

That’s a job for Harti Waqooyi imo, PLs main focus has to be on Securing the three core provinces and building defences on the mudug border. If Harti Waqooyi falter we should do our part to help but the onus is on them, and in regards to ceerigaabo, it’ll have to be the Dhulos who provide support for the Warsan effort, seeing as they initiated the attack in the first place.
That's impossible, They've lost land in the last 8 months with no response from SSC.

Doesn’t matter if they do or don’t take it back, but that should be our official position on things. PL is Mudug, Nugaal, Bari. Soon we will be back to the status quo and all the money and blood poured into the 2023 war will be for naught.

Puntland faces a threat from the south, from the FGS, it’s why we’re now debating over where Puntlands borders lie and who rules who.

PL need to keep an eye on the Kastumos and the mudug border, possibly prepare to attack southwards in the next few years if the situation demands it.

We not allowed to take back Galkacyo because mj zionist @Abdisamad took all our weapons to fight for Reer sool and they ended up ditching him for SL😂
Reer baadiye baad tahay adeer. Your talking to gidaar. Just ignore him. We have a bunch of sheegato on this platform anyway.

No sane Puntite would dismiss Puntlands success over ANYTHING in this world.

Lool.. There's more probability of being a sheegato than me being one.. Something tells me you're a seccesionist SL larping as a Puntlander.

Ninkaasi waa uu faany, wax xunna ma aha in ninku reerkii ku faano. Laakin jilib Soomaaliyeed oo tariikhda Majeerteen leh ma jiro. Runtu waa taa. Calan aan weligii dhicin iyo magac shisheeyuhu ka haybsado ayuu ilaahay Majeerteen siiyay.

The title of our traditional leader became the Somali word for king. Soomaali markii la waydiiyay "how do you say king in your language?" waxay ku jawaabeen "boqor".

:mjlaugh:
Only one that I think of in the past are the Harla koombe tribe the backbone of the Awfat sultanate.

Boqor is an ancient word

Ultimately derived from Proto-Afroasiatic *baḳar- (“wealthy”). Cognates include Tamahaq beɣer(“fortunate, lucky”), Tawellemmet baɣar(“be rich”), Central Atlas Tamazightanesbaɣur (“rich, fortunate”), and possibly Meroitic 𐦧𐦳𐦫 (pqr, “prince”).

Boqor: Literally denotes King.[9] However, in practice, it is the primus inter pares or "King of Kings".[10] The title is etymologically derived from one of the Afro-Asiatic Somali language terms for "belt", in recognition of the official's unifying role within society.[1]According to Kobishchanow (1987), Boqor is also related to the style Paqar, which was employed by rulers in the early state of Meroe.

The fact is that this title was first used amongst the Somali by the hereditary monarchs of the Majeerteen.

I recently discovered that I am 3% Warsangali and 14% Geri, which together make up 17% Koombe (maternally). So, am I obligated to lend my support? I haven't kept pace with this long thread. A summary would be nice.

Waqooyi Bari is entering its state building / election phase. The future of the state rides on the results of that election, FGS MP Cali Xoosh is pulling lots of strings and is said to influence the outcome of the election all this is alleged , I'm not following the Waqooyi Bari drama.

Boqor probably did not mean king before the MJ clan leader was called that. It was just another word for leader much like malaaq or ugaas or suldaan. Boqor began to mean king because the highest isim in prestiege among Somalis was the MJ clan leader and he was called boqor. If the MJ leader had been named malaaq, the Somali word for king would have become malaaq.

Keep in mind that boqors never called themselves king/malik in dealings with non-Somalis. They called themselves sultan. Boqor was their local title which was translated as king because of their prestige.

This is why I always laugh when religious Somalis comment under posts about Boqor Burhan that "only Allah is boqor".
