Keep up the pressure brothers and never put yourself in a weak position that would enable the seccesionists to invade and take over an inch of your land, as a matter of fact I would encourage you to liberate more land and return it to Somalia.. Also if god forbid PL becomes a seccesionist rogue state we have to stop it.. We have to catch it and put straps around it like a mental asylum patient to contain it and slowly cure it.
Why do you never suggest reform of Somalia not just a change of President but actual political development. SSC rebels cannot take land from Somaliland. They are either considered a part of Somaliland or Somalia depending on recognition of Somaliland. They cannot contain PL if it decides to go for indpendence.
At the end of the day a political settlement has to be reached and it's not based on empty ideology. That won't work anymore.
Even here you can see that the fmr US ambassador to Somalia calls recognition of this state "unilateral". He is a supporter of Somalia and he understands this was a blunder that delegitimizes Mogadishu. He said Mogadishu and Hargeisa have to negotiate. The influence of China just makes things even worse for Mogadishu.
You can see even worse is all this Hawiye politician cares about is that HSM is using it for elections, not the long term political settlement of Somaliland - Somaila issue or the federalism issue. The Hawiye competing for presidency of Somalia have two goals - attack and undermine Somaliland in anyway and get HSM out of the villa. This is why Somalia is toast. You can take that to the bank.
