Big day for Qoslaye and his ilk...most definitely I predict an armed conclict between PL and this new administration.

Not everyone has to be viewed as us vs. them walaal. I don’t like HSM at all but this is objectively a good thing for Somali unity.

For the first time in 30+ years the Federal Republic of Somalia can credibly claim to have a presence in the northern territories. This is a big blow for those who seek secession and should be celebrated as such.

He has demonstrated a willingness to take seriously the threat of secession, unlike many other Somali politicians.

It's just this creation was not an all inclusive conference, there are still some parts of Sanaag who are part of Puntland and did not attend in the conference, for example Badhan not 100 sure but also Las qoray is under Puntland, so how will this work unless it'll lead to armed confrontation like what we've seen Jubaland..
