Ladies, if you were to marry nonSomali

They’re funny, cute and a little destructive. Just how i like them :ohhhdamn: Are you into arabs and turks? There are cute faraxs out there trust me, unfortunately they all seem to be taken? Lol, do I have the @Knowles syndrome? :kendrickcry:
Yes I’m into Middle Eastern men, but I do like black guys, just not Somali men. When I see an Abdi I’ve never felt like I wanted to jump his bones. There’s no sexual attraction there. They remind me of my brothers and cousins

Where are these cute Faraxs that you speak of? I need to be on the lookout lol.

kids at a young age are influenced more by the mother than the father. The mother is the nurturer and caregiver and the mother will be around the kids more. Mom is on mat leave from work while dad is still working hence he won't be around as much. So if you're a man you better marry a woman who will raise your kids the way you want because she will have more influence than you. This might change as they grow older but the formative years when the child is developing is incredibly important to a child's upbringing.

That's why I have a Somali only policy and its not because of how the kids will be brought up,I simply don't find ajnabi attractive.

I respect that. Maintaining our culture is incredibly important. There's absolutely nothing wrong with marrying someone else from another race as long as they are Muslim, but there are many studies that show these marriages are more likely to end in divorce or separation when you compare those to marriages that marry within the culture. I'm not saying all interracial marriages end up poorly, but there definitely will be more challenges to overcome than when you marry a Somali. Once the honeymoon phase is over the cultural differences often become too much of a hurdle to overcome. The two families might not get along, tension with in laws, and as much as you say you don't care what others think the constant gossip and slander might get to you, etc.

Attraction is important but it shouldn't be number 1 on the list. Looks go away with time anyway.

There are already fully blooded Somali youth who can barely speak the Somali language. If they marry an ajnabi the culture will completely disappear. They will be just like the native indians in Canada with no culture no deen just Muslim by name but completely westernized.

Hmmm interesting way of thinking.

Another reason why I don't want inter-racial marriages is because there is a high chance the kids won't look Somali and I don't know about you guys but raising a kid that doesn't look like me is quite a big turn off.

Damn, i dunno what to say :mjlol: They remind me of my brothers and cousins kullaha thats a tough one. They‘re all taken, thats where they are. :jcoleno:

That's not the reality. First reer Djibouti are open minded. There are lots of mixed couples who live peacefully there with their half Somali kids. And they are well treated. My own cousins are half Spanish and go to borama with their Spanish dad every summer. He bought a house with his wife (my aunt). On the contrary Somalis love to see ajnabis embracing the Somali culture. Sspot is not the reality.

They are delusional.

The locals back home are not as racist as these idiots.

My cousin took her half Arab kids back home last summer holiday and nobody gave her trouble.

Ladies, if you were going to marry a nonSomali man, how would you raise your future children? Would you expose them equally to Somali culture as well as the culture of their father, or would you choose one over the other?

If I found myself in that situation I’d like my kids to still be as Somali as possible. They’d learn the language, grow up around Somalis, and visit back home in the summer.
Why confuse the poor bastard? Raise him in his dad's culture. He will never be accepted as a Somali.

Depends on what region. Those kids if found out, would be easy targets. They would never be able to live in Somalia

Some of you Somalis are seriously sick in the head! This Gambian Brother was absolutely correct, so I’ll play it again. Please don’t reply to me because I’m completely done with this subject. Inshallah you all grow up and see the real world not Internet gossip. Lots of love

I know a woman that is raising her half Somali kids back home.

Growing up, my mum was neighbours with half Yemeni kids, dad was fresh from Yemen and she had half Eritreans in her class.

Somalis back home are not as racist as sspot. Also, people from our parents generation despite disliking interracial marriages are not vile as the racists here. I've never heard anyone refer to half Somali kids with Somali hooyos as garaacs ect. You people lack athaab and akhlaaq.

Ladies make sure you don't end up with drastic failures
Be reasonable when you find the right spouse don't jump to conclusions with that hotheaded brain of yours don't hop in a plane to see a stranger you barely know or booking a flight from Stockholm syndrome to Londonistan
Please be rational and quit with the poor decision making get to know the individual and see wether he fits in your criteria before making an appalling conclusion

Wlahi ajnabi loving ass with naagnool toilet papers should not be trending with Xaliimos

Know a guy who was half Swedish, half Somali but his dad was the scandi. He married a west african ting because he knew the problem his kids would have if he married a Somali, having no lineage.

Feel bad for him in a way, being judged for sonething out of his control, he had to end it with his childhood crush.

Thank you Uber eats xxx

I would move to my husbnds country and get away from somalis. They will bully my kids i dont think i would want to expose that to my Kids. I wouldnt even teach them somali out of protection. Its easier for somali men to marry out because they wont be rejected by the community. Not to say i would ever marry out i want my kids to be exposed to ad much of islam as possible from both sides. I wouldn't even marry other muslims for cultural and language differences.
lol just say you'd marry out. Your paragraph is contradictory. If you're truly Muslim then by marrying another Muslim your children will be Muslim. lol. It's upbringing. If anything, Somalis are becoming more and more like gaalos and leaving Islam.

Marrying another Muslims isnt enough for me there is nothing wrong with preferring your culture over another prophet respected culture and traditions as long they did not embraced disbelief.want my kids to have aunts and uncles they can communicate with in the same language as well culture.
