Kpop is taking over our xalimos... everywhere

Joliemademoiselle

A pious muslima.
I forgot to mention these are the same xaliimos who use kakaotalk (a korean whatsapp) the amount of xaliimos i've seen there

Tbh if i caught my homies listening to somali music out of nowhere i'd be hella confused:kodaksmiley:
But all music is ultimately haram, have you ever gone music free for a year or months on end? that is the most peaceful you'll ever feel, Wallahi music just brings depression because it burns iimaan like fite burns wood, increase your iimaan by abstaining from it.
Wallahi is true, music dirty the soul. we should try music free life. it's hard at first but you have a greater reward later.
But I am also for Somali self-love so we should only listen to Spop as a proud nation.

Wallahi i'm conflicted :ftw9nwa: at first i agree, but the second part, we already have gabey man/sis
Just look at this masterpiece made me cry:frdfvsb::frdfvsb:

Why are men obsessed with things that women enjoy, that isn't centred around men?

The average man loves football. Your statement is equivalent to me saying that men lack individuality, because they all love watching the premier league.

Not really. The Premier League's just the most popular league in sports. It's more quality than fitting in.

False equivalence. Sure most men watch sports, but the driving factor isn't because other men do it

Women generally do what's popular, she has to fit it in.

Watching football is a hobby common amongst men.

Watching K-pop is now very common amongst teenage girls. They enjoy it.
Why is it acceptable for men to have common hobbies, but not young women?

Its weird, like really strange.

How do you know women do it to fit in?

Have you conducted a national survey?

I could also say the same about men. In fact men watching football is so common, that I find it different when I see a guy who doesn't like it.

You've missed my point. I won't carry on this discussion.

Either's fine but copycatting's weird.

No, I haven't.

Its because you don't have a leg to stand on.Your point is, women have hobbies to copy each other. Where is your proof? Your evidence?

If men don't copy each other, why do the amount of men that are NOT into football so small. Nearly every man is into football.
I can easily come up with the same argument and you know it.
That's such a ridiculous and easy argument to counter. Men are naturally more inclined to watching and participating in sports. And discussing it. And no, most men actually aren't football fans. Football is popular for a number of other reasons though, some of which are the simplicity, affordability, availability, TV coverage, among others. Come on.

K-pop is getting a lot of coverage in recent years and people are inclined to listen to music that is readily available and catchy.
Any reasoning you come up with, I can make the exact same excuse as well.

Hobbies are hobbies.
